Daniel Radcliffe stars as the legendary musician, entertainer, and parody king

Weird Al Yankovic has been blessing music and pop culture for decades now, fading in and out of the limelight with his ever-growing collection of humorous songs and parodies. After the release of this upcoming biopic about the legendary entertainer however, he's sure to remain an A list celebrity for eternity.

Daniel Radcliffe stars as Yankovic in the film, which takes its title from a 2010 fake trailer that initially had Aaron Paul as the star musician. Radcliffe rocks the Hawaiian shirts like nobody's business, as his transformation into Weird Al is sure to become one of the actor's most memorable roles. Check out the first reveal of the Harry Potter star in action in the trailer below.

Yankovic had this to say about the film: “When my last movie UHF came out in 1989, I made a solemn vow to my fans that I would release a major motion picture every 33 years, like clockwork. I’m very happy to say we’re on schedule. And I am absolutely thrilled that Daniel Radcliffe will be portraying me in the film. I have no doubt whatsoever that this is the role future generations will remember him for.”

From his meteoric rise to fame with early hits like ‘Eat It’ and ‘Like a Surgeon’ to his torrid celebrity love affairs and famously depraved lifestyle, the film follows the journey of one of the strangest, most talented, and hilarious artists to ever set foot on stage or in front of a camera. It's directed by Eric Appel who co-wrote the script alongside Yankovic himself.

'Weird: The Al Yankovic Story' is set to release this fall on the Roku Channel.
