Streaming giant Spotify has announced a partnership with Riot Games, developer of League of Legends, to become the “global audio service provider for League Of Legends”.
The extent of the partnership will Spotify cultivating different podcast series that all focus on world or League of Leagues, including a specific focus on the competitors.
Untold Stories: Top Moments from Worlds, is a nine-episode series that will feature interviews with focal community members in the franchise. Listeners will learn about the top competitors through game highlights included in the podcast's lead up to the 10th League of Legends championship this fall.
Spotify will also helm the playlists associated with the game, including the existing 'This Is League of Legends' playlist as well as produce a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the Worlds Anthem.
