The reveal of new music follows the band's ambitious 'What Is Really Underneath?' soundtrack which arrived earlier this year.

Regarded for their commitment to progression and their disregard for convention, Code Orange have yet again established why the are among the very best at moving the culture and craft of heavy music forward.

Following the debut of their remix album and soundtrack effort with the launch of What Is Really Underneath?, Code Orange reimagined the tracks on their hailed 2020 opus, Underneath. The album also served the accompanying soundtrack for a compelling animated short film - a fourteen minute epic.

The visual paired with the ambitious release presented a true labor of love headed by Code Orange’s own Eric “Shade” Balderose — who took on the task of bringing the Dantanian-dystopia to life. Putting in some 2000 hours over the course of four months, the animation utilized Cinema 4D and Octant Render to frame the redemption story of the band’s Mudman character first introduced via the single, “The Mud” from their celebrated 2017 album, Forever.

Now, the band have commenced their next phase with the reveal of not one, but two relentless singles in "Grooming My Replacement" and "The Game". Arriving via the newly forged label Blue Grape Music, the tracks present a dynamic brand of metallic hardcore that resonates as controlled chaos. Frontman Jami Morgan detailed the abrasive nature of the tandem of tracks as “the bug-infested subconscious of a band on the run from its past and future.”

The arrival of the packaged singles serves as a harbinger of the heft to come from Code Orange. Hailed for their innovative approach to the space with albums like Underneath, the latest tracks suggest a return to the band's roots - showcasing their hardcore pedigree with the kind of execution that remains pure pummel.

Code Orange will make the trek to Manchester later this month to perform at Outbreak Fest on June 24th along with the likes of Death Grips, Denzel Curry, Converge, Trapped Under Ice, Loathe, Show Me the Body, Jesus Piece and many more.

Domestically, the band is also confirmed to perform at Rocklahoma, Riot Fest and Louder Than Life in what will be an especially busy September. Stay up-to-date with all things Code Orange - HERE
