The fall trek announcement follows the recent release of the new single, “Never Dawn”.
Italo-gothic metal vets Lacuna Coil recently completed their 2023 run supporting the reworked project of Comalies XX – a compilation of deconstructed and reimagined versions of tracks from the band’s seminal 2002 LP, Comalies.
During the finale of the tour in Los Angeles, Lacuna Coil unveiled a glimpse of their next phase with completed version of “Never Dawn”. The track was first showcased as an instrumental on the trailer for the Zombicide: White Death board game. During the tour finale, Lacuna Coil performed a completed rendition of the track, giving fans a glimpse of new material.
“First presented, in its instrumental version, in the trailer for Zombicide: White Death game, and then in its live version, during our last sold out show in LA, we’re so incredibly thrilled to finally unveil the full version of NEVER DAWN!” said vocalist Cristina Scabbia. “This song is a fierce survival journey throughout grotesque and frozen lands, where the power within is the main weapon. Adding to their charge, the band has now unveiled plans to head out on a two week long fall tour with the October Dawn tour. Bolstering the bill that will touch down in 12-cities, Lacuna Coil has sourced Fear Factory and Lions at the Gates to join the run of live dates. In select cities, God Forbid will join up with the tour in place of Fear Factory.
