OZZY OSBOURNE CANCELS HIS APPEARANCE AT POWER TRIP FESTIVAL DUE TO ONGOING HEALTH CONCERNS

Read the full statement in which Ozzy confides, “my body is telling me that I’m just not ready yet.”

Unfortunate news from the Ozzy Osbourne camp as the Prince of Darkness has shared a statement officially announcing he will no longer be participating in the three-day Power Trip Festival scheduled for this fall in Indio, CA.

Ozzy was slated to join Metallica, Iron Maiden, Guns N’ Roses, Tool, and AC/DC this October for the monumental California event, despite having announced earlier this year that he was limiting his touring plans. In fact, Ozzy canceled his scheduled European tour dates, explaining that he is continuing to heal from the residual effects of his spine injury.
In published statement, Ozzy detailed his ambitious timeline of coming back ahead of schedule for the festival and how his body is just not responding the way he had hope. “My original plan was to return to the stage in the summer of 2024, and when the offer to do this show came in, I optimistically moved forward.”
Ozzy added, “Unfortunately, my body is telling me that I’m just not ready yet and I am much too proud to have the first show that I do in nearly five years be half-assed.”
