The ‘Feed The Beat: Unofficial Halftime Shows’ will also feature performances from MUNA and Claire Rosinkranz.

Someone at Southern California-based fast food chain Taco Bell is really about that hardcore.

Last year, the internet went nuts when the company released a viral ad via TikTok for their Nacho Fries featuring the anthem “Holiday” from transcendent hardcore heroes, Turnstile. In fact, the campaign was so successful, the spot went from a viral sensation to a network television ad.

Now, the Bell is doubling down on their love for hardcore’s new wave by enlisting Santa Cruz standouts Scowl for their Feed The Beat: Unofficial Halftime Shows. Coinciding with FIFA’s Women’s World Cup, the series will feature performances from the likes of MUNA (July 20th at 11:20pm EST), Claire Rosinkranz (July 26th at 9:50pm EST) and the previously mentioned Scowl (August 5th a 10:50pm EST).

Fans will be able to tune in to see the exclusive performances will broadcast – HERE.

Additionally, fans watching will be able to get their fix of Taco Bell munchies prior to and during the show with $5 off a $20+ delivery order by entering a promo code on the Bell’s app.

Taco Bell launched their Feed the Beat initiative in 2006 to support and spotlight emerging musical talent. Since then, FtB has supported early 2,000 artists from all genres. The support ranges from Taco Bell gift cards to unique showcase stages like The Unofficial Halftime Show.

“Feed the Beat has always been about empowering and supporting the voices that shape our culture, and these Unofficial Halftime Shows have a spirit of celebration and empowerment,” said Tim Bergevin, Taco Bell’s Vice President of Influencer and Community Marketing. “We’re excited to give the next generation of Feed the Beat artists the mainstage this summer and shine a light on the incredible talent and strength of the women and non-binary individuals in both the music and sports industries.”

The level up for Scowl lands as the band preps for their extensive fall headlining tour in support of their recently released Flatspot Records EP, Psychic Dance Routine. The 34-date trek begins September 8th and closes out late October with a finale at the historic 924 Gilman in Berkeley, CA. Joining the tour, Scowl will be flanked by Militarie Gun, MSPAINT and Big Laugh on select dates.
