Wage War Debut Electrifying New Single, "Magnetic"

- By Ramon Gonzales

The latest single lands ahead of the band's co-headlining spring tour acorss North American with Nothing More.

Florida metalcore standouts Wage War have returned emphatically with their first offering of music since the celebrated 2021 full length, Manic.

On "Magnetic" the band compose an adept meld of melody and heft, combining proficient songwriting with a keen sense of live dynamics on a track that resonates as anthemic. Implementing atmospheric breaks, a driving backbeat and a commanding performance from vocalist Briton Bond, Wage War begin their next chapter with a resounding show of force.

"'Magnetic' is a song about an attraction to someone that you just can't seem to quit," the band elaborated. "Despite knowing what may be best, we're pulled back to a feeling that inevitably takes control. Fate decides our future."

The track offers a preview of the liver prowess set to commence next month as Wage War embark on a spring co-headlining North American tour opposite Nothing More. Along with support from Veil of Maya and emerging prospects Sleep Theory, the ticket proves to be one of the most in-demand of the season.

The run follows a pivotal 2023 in which the band topped their biggest touring performances to date in support of their late 2021 LP, Manic. Primed to level up from their biggest year to date, Wage War are continuing their upward trajectory in 2024 with a new single and a highly-anticipated tour to substantiate that.
