UK extreme metal force Overthrow are barreling towards the release of their next EP and stepping up the aggression considerably from the past. Today, they have shared the title track from the EP, Ascension of the Entombed, so get your stank faces ready.
They added, “The lyrics create a world in which the dead are rising from the grave and reclaiming all existence, fulled by REVENGE. It’s also a metaphorical representation of how we view ourselves as a band; we’ve gone to the Beyond and back with this EP and are ready to show the world that OVERTHROW have returned to take no prisoners.”
Formed in the UK in 2011 by vocalist/guitarist Jay White, the band has evolved over the past decade plus to incorporate darker, more sinister tones into their thrashy base.
