The Weekly Drop 11.3.20

The Weekly Drop 11.3.20

- By Harris David

This week features themed kicks from Adidas, an autumnal Nike Dunk, an OG Nike runner and another collab.

As we creep into the end of the year, the number of dope sneaker releases isn't slowing down. Whether it's another highly anticipated collab, a holiday release or just a general release in a simple autumn color way; the shoes keep on coming.

We know there are so many other things to worry about right now, and talking about sneakers kind of sounds crass. But know this, we're making these lists to hopefully put you onto something new. We might introduce you to a new brand or a new artist because of a collaboration. We really just want to give you an escape from the severity of real life, through sneaks.

With that said, we're gonna take a hard left and pivot back to shoes. Here are the four sneakers we want to add to our collections this week.

The Mandalorian x Adidas Superstar "The Child"

Release: Nov. 4, 2020 at Adidas.com | Price: $90

Adidas is continuing its awesome collaboration with the Star Wars universe. This time the collection is taking inspiration from the post Galactic Empire period of The Mandalorian. Let's be honest, the anticipation and arrival of this show is the only thing that has kept us going through this weird ass year.

This collection includes an NMD, Top Ten, ZX 2K Boost, Gazelle but we're all about the "Adidas members only" Superstar. This beautiful shoe is dressed in a linen green, black stripes and heel tab, and a cream white sole and toe cap. It even has a its namesake character embossed on the heel. Star Wars collaboration aside, this color way is perfect.

Shoe Palace x New Balance 997S "Great White"

Release: Nov 5, 2020 at ShoePalace.com | Price: $120

New Balance has done it again with this beautiful 997S. Honestly there isn't a color way of this shoe we don't like. This one takes inspiration from the red triangle, off the coast of Northern California where Shoe Palace calls home. The red triangle is famous for its record number of Great White Shark attacks.

The model is dressed in teal suede and black mesh, a thick white sole with the famous "Abzorb" decal on the heel. And oh yeah, there are very subtle great white teeth on the heel tab.

Nike Air Max 3 "Radiant Red"

Release: Nov 9, 2020 on Nike SNKRS App | Price: $140

This iconic silhouette is returning for the first time in its original form for the first time since 2010. Since then we've seen the signature color way on engineered mesh, hyperfuse and on a Air Max 360 sole.

It's only fitting that this classic caps of the 30th anniversary of the model. We have had a year full of dope AM90 releases, including the Duck Camo and Undefeated packs.

Nike Dunk Low "Veneer"

Release: Nov 11, 2020 on Nike SNKRS App | Price: $100

This Nike Dunk is actually a re-release of a Japan exclusive dunk from back in 2001. This shoe screams jeans and a grey hoodie which is our fall uniform this year so these shoes are a must. Like the 2001 original, the premium suede is dressed in veneer, deep purple and autumn green. Please note, these aren't SBs so don't expect the fat tongue on these bad boys.
