For Lamb of God drummer Art Cruz, the evolution of his musical career has gone from working merch for a regional band, to jumping on the drum throne for the likes of Winds of Plague and Prong. He has now transitioned into his role as the drummer for metal powerhouse Lamb of God and the fit is plainly undeniable. The band is set to release their 10th studio effort on June 19th, the first to feature Cruz on drums.

In his segment on Mosh Talks, Cruz details his growth as a drummer and even recounts a story of waiting after a Lamb of God show back in 2005, reiterating his position as a true fan of the band he now performs in. Referring to his gig with Lamb of God as “surreal,” Cruz exudes a genuine excitement in discussing the latest record and his ability to contribute to such an important band in the genre.
