After a healthy amount of teasing online, Black Veil Brides have surfaced in grand fashion with the release of the single, “Scarlett Cross,” the first single from the band’s sixth studio album, The Phantom Tomorrow.

Frontman and BVB architect Andy Biersack again tapped Patrick Fogarty to helm his video vision as the visual introduces the protagonist of the album’s narrative, “The Blackbird”. The video is a comic book come to life and the first in a series that will complete the story of a group of outcast known as The Phantom Tomorrow.

Coupled with the release of the song and it’s accompanying visual, the band has detailed their complete blueprint for The Phantom Tomorrow. “We are incredibly excited to share not only this new song ‘Scarlet Cross,’ but also our vision for the world of The Phantom Tomorrow and its characters. We are in the final stages of writing for this record and have begun work on our forthcoming The Phantom Tomorrow graphic novel. We intend to continue to share elements of the story in the coming months and can’t wait for everyone to see what we have been working on!”
