Blumhouse to release four horror films on Amazon Prime in October

The company that produced Paranormal Activity, Insidious, Get Out, The Gift, Sinister, and The Purge are working with Amazon Prime for the Halloween season.

Blumhouse has made its mark in the horror genre with scores like Paranormal Activity, Insidious, Get Out, Sinister, The Purge and more.

The production company made big news in announcing not one but four original films launching on Amazon Prime for the month of October.

"Welcome to the Blumhouse" is an anthology of horror films with the first series of four being released as double features.

October 6th, The Lie directed by writer/director Veena Sud (The Killing, 7 Seconds) and Black Box directed by writer/director Emmanuel Osei-Kuffour Jr. (Born with It) are scheduled to screen.

The Lie stars Peter Sarsgaard (The Batman, Black Mass), Mireille Enos (The Killing), and Joey King (The Conjuring).

Debuting the very next week on October 13th is Evil Eye, directed Elan Dassani and Rajeev Dassani and Nocturne, written and directed by Zu Quirke.
