CJ Pierce and Jasen Moreno of Drowning Pool join the Talk Toomey podcast to discuss their upcoming album, Strike a Nerve. CJ and Jasen talk about the new single 'Mind Right', and the idea of honoring Pantera with the song.

They talk about growing up in Dallas and becoming friendly with Pantera and how they are now looking forward to seeing the upcoming celebration shows. CJ speaks on why it took six years for a new Drowning Pool record and Jasen speaks on its recording process.

Toomey talks about the 20th anniversary of Dave Williams passing and all the tributes pouring in all over social media. CJ recalls the day he passed and how he found out the tragic news. Jasen chats about his favorite songs to play live and CJ lets us know how Drowning Pool got hooked up doing U.S.O. shows.
