As part of NPR's celebration of Black Music Month, Florida powerhouse Denzel Curry took to the Tiny Desk concert series in what was one of the first in-office performances since 2020's pandemic related pivot of remote showcases.
The 20-minute set featured a focused selection of cuts from Curry's most recent Loma Vista Recordings full length, Melt My Eyez See Your Future in addition to fan favorites like the closer, "Ricky" from the critically acclaimed 2019 LP, ZUU.
The Tiny Desk Concert performance saw Curry backed by LA Based collective Cold Blooded Soul and capped a massive stretch of high profile showings that included appearances at the Governors Ball, Bonnaroo and Something In The Water festivals.
Curry's showcase also serves as a preview of his upcoming Melt My Eyez North American Tour which is set to kick off later this month. In addition, Curry has been confirmed to join Kid Cudi on his world tour headliner along with Don Toliver. The run of dates begins mid-August and extends through mid September.
