Derrick Green of Sepultura talks SepulQuarta, tour must-haves and more on the latest Talk Toomey podcast

Derrick Green of Sepultura joins the Talk Toomey Podcast this week to discuss the band's upcoming tour with Sacred Reich and Crowbar.

Veteran frontman of pioneering metal outfit Sepultura Derrick Green sat in as this week's guest on the Talk Toomey Podcast. Green and host Joshua Toomey managed to touch on a myriad of talking points ranging from living abroad, tour must-haves and getting to play songs from Quadra live.

Sidelined by the pandemic and forced to pivot over the last couple of years, the band has done well in adapting to adversity - developing a successful podcast series in the SepulQuarta podcast that would eventually give rise to a unique live album comprising of the remote jam sessions featured on said podcast.

Set to get back to some sense of normalcy, Sepultura is on the verge of beginning their long-awaited live return with a North American run with Sacred Reich, Crowbar and Art of Shock. The excitement of getting back to the stage and performing live took on a healthy portion of the conversation, with the frontman detailing how eager he is to get into the groove of gigging.

Green also got shared some of his favorite moments during the SepulQuarta sessions, which better framed the significance of the last two years. The conversation also touched on Green's early days in Cleveland and his well-documented love of skateboarding.
