Burgers, Coffee, Cake, and Vegan Brunch round out this month's menu

Knotfest has scoured the country to find some of the best metal-themed restaurants, bars, and cafes. Fierce Eats spotlights a monthly menu highlighting some hard-core menu items that will definitely have fans drooling.

Grill Em' All - The Behemoth

Grill Em' All is a Los Angeles burger institution. Chef Ryan Harkins and former professional wrestler Matt Chernus started serving gourmet burgers out of a food truck back in 2009. Before opening up their heavy metal themed brick and mortar they won the first 'Great Food Truck Race' and were featured on the 'Best Thing I Ever Ate.' Their popularity led them to lay their food trucks to rest and serve burgers like the featured Behemoth out of their very own Valhalla.

The Behemoth is their best selling burger and is appropriately named. This monster features grilled cheese buns, bacon, grilled onions, house made pickles, cheddar and mosh pit bbq on a half pound burg!

Hardcore Sweet Bakery - Last Breath Cocktail Cake

Jeremy and Nicole Braddock are slanging delicious baked goods out of their alternative bakery in Watertown, Connecticut. How good is their bakery? Well, they're only the winners of a little known game show called 'Cupcake Wars,' which featured Rob Zombie as a guest judge. Since first opening their doors back in 2012, they’ve been devoted to offering the highest-quality products at affordable prices. That devotion has led them to appearances on Cooking Channel's 'Sugar Showdown' and Netflix's 'Sugar Rush' season 3.

The husband and wife duo are serving up baked goods like cheesecakes, whoopies, cookie sandwiches, donuts, pop tarts, and of course cakes. Which leads us to the 'Last Breath' Cocktail Cake inspired by Connecticut's own, Hatebreed, who handpicked the ingredients. The cake is baked with their Breed Brew Beer, from Witchdoctor Brewing, a whisky ganache filling, and salted caramel. It is topped with a whipped cream, a chocolate peanut butter ganache with candied bacon and pecans and more whisky on top.

Black Forge Coffee - Gravity Blast Espresso

This heavy metal woman-owned business hails from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Ashley Corts began building the Black Forge Coffee brand in 2015 with a mission to provide a creative destination focused on supporting her communities in both Allentown and McKees Rocks, coffee culture and our music and art scene. She offers a safe space for artists of all types to share their craft. Black Forge sources their beans from small, privately-owned farms, their blends change frequently, with the exception of our regular offerings. Not only do they consciously source their beans, they roast in small, 10 lb. batches, ensuring that each bean is up to their standards.

Gravity Blast Espresso is the newest offering from Black Forge Coffee. Constantly reinventing coffee, Black Forge has raised the bar with Gravity Blast.
