Since hitting the scene with classics 'Carrie', 'Salem's Lot' & 'The Shining' legendary author Stephen King has been an absolute machine when it comes to kicking out quality content.
Today he announced his next book 'LATER' that's being touted as "echoes of King’s classic novel 'It', LATER is a powerful, haunting, unforgettable exploration of what it takes to stand up to evil in all the faces it wears."
The plot centers around a boy with supernatural ability forced to take his ability to the edge.
"Born with an unnatural ability his mom urges him to keep secret, Jamie can see what no one else can see and learn what no one else can learn. But the cost of using this ability is higher than Jamie can imagine—as he discovers when an NYPD detective draws him into the pursuit of a killer who has threatened to strike from beyond the grave."
For King, whose 2018 novel 'The Outsider' T.V. adaption was nominated for an Emmy last week, this will be his third novel for Hard Case Crime, a publishing brand that focuses on the old school suspense and thriller novels in stylish paperbacks.
'LATER' is scheduled for a March 2021 release on paperback, before heading to hardback and ebook sometime later. Order here.
