The Adapt Conference is slated for October 22nd and is the first of it's kind event. Geared towards both established industry professionals and interested students, the emphasis of the conference is to underscore the success stories of those within music and entertainment that have been able to pivot during what are unprecedented times.
Created by Vans Warped Your founder Kevin Lyman and Trevor Swenson of Dynamic Talent International, Adapt was established with the end goal of educating the community of like-minded professionals on ways to collaborate and grow collectively, despite such dire circumstances.
The event will be hosted on Whova Conference App and will feature attendee networking opportunities, customizable profiles, interactive chat box + video during panels, polling Q+As, community message boards, and more.
ADAPT is being produced by Dynamic Talent and KLG with generous support from Prism.fm, 3P America, Health Education Services, NACA (National Association of Campus Activities), Pure Noise Records, Flytevu and Sonic Workshops.
The workshops and discussions on the agenda for ADAPT include a conversation with Joel Madden (CEO Veeps.com/ MDDN) and Director of Premium Music Content for Twitch, Brian Rucker about live streaming during the era of Covid-19. 'Pivoting In A Pandemic' is another panel discussion hosted by Chamie McCurry, CMO at Danny Wimmer Presents. Eric Tobin, EVP Business Development and A&R Hopeless Records, Mike Easterlin, President of Elektra Music Group, and Tessa Violet, an artist with T∆G Music will host a panel on releasing new music during a pandemic.
These are just a few of the many sessions that will help to educate and ultimately galvanize a community of industry professionals that have been among the hardest hit throughout this pandemic.
