Watch the new teaser trailer for Doom Eternal: The Ancient Gods Part One

Get the first look at the expansion campaign for Doom Eternal.

Bethesda Softworks unveiled the first look at the expansion campaign for Doom Eternal at QuakeCon this weekend.

Though the complete reveal will happen at Gamescon Opening Night event fans of the franchise now have a glimpse into what the DLC will look like.

The Ancient Gods sees Doomguy traversing the landscapes in the fallout of the Doom Eternal narrative. Bethesda details in the game's description, “An imbalance of power in the heavens requires the true ruler of this universe to rise and set things right. Wage war across never-before-seen realms of the Doom Universe and fight against new demons in your never-ending battle against the forces of evil.”

No release date has been set yet for Doom Eternal: The Ancient Gods but details will are certainly to be expected during the full reveal later this month.

The news is especially exciting as Doom Eternal will be made available for PS5 and the Xbox Series X consoles. Players who currently own, or purchase the games, on either Xbox One of Playstation 4 will be will be upgraded to the next generation versions for free.
