Culture shifting powerhouse Babymetal have announced a limited edition NFT trading card pack drop that will be available for 72 hours starting May 6th via WAX blockchain.
The extremely limited release is limited to just 1000 packs of ten cards chronicling all the ten episodes of the band's Metal Resistance, the ten chapters Babymetal have developed since the Japanese phenomenon took the world by storm a decade ago.
Babymetal recently released 10 BABYMETAL YEARS, the band's first definitive collection of essentials taken from their three studio albums, BABYMETAL (2014), METAL RESISTANCE (2016), and METAL GALAXY (2019). The trading card NFT pack functions similarly in revisiting each of those 10 chapters from the preceding decade and to further underscore the tie in, the band is also giving each fan that purchases an NFT pack will also get an exclusive limited-edition Gold colored vinyl of the retrospective LP, 10 BABYMETAL YEARS.

Additionally, Babymetal kicked off 2021 with a series of performances at Tokyo's famed Nippon Budokan during January and February. Footage from the succession of 10 historic shows will now be featured as a streaming global streaming event that will close out the band's first decade and their Metal Resistance era.
