Last year, the Banksy mural that graced the emergency exit doors of the Bataclan in Paris was literally cut out and stolen by a group of hoodies thieves. The crime was salt in the forever open wound of the terrorist attacks that shook the world back in 2015.
This week however, authorities in Abruzzo, Italy managed to find the stolen artwork in an abandoned farmhouse. The discovery followed a full year of investigative efforts that took place throughout several European countries.
