The latest good time slasher flick from the Blumhouse brand stars Kathryn Newton and Vince Vaughn in a gorey-spin on the Freaky Friday body swap story.
Helmed by Christopher Landon of the Happy Death Day films and Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones, the movie made it's debut appropriately on Friday November the 13th in theaters and drive-ins nationwide. However, it seems as though Blumhouse head Jason Blum has let the film's VOD plans slip.
As reported by Bloody Disgusting, Blum, in a since deleted tweet, referenced "17 Days," a measurement that suggests the film will hit video on demand on November 30th, despite just being released in theaters today.
The film's synopsis reads, “When The Butcher’s (Vaughn) mystical ancient dagger causes him and Millie (Newton) to wake up in each other’s bodies, Millie learns that she has just 24 hours to get her body back before the switch becomes permanent and she’s trapped in the form of a middle-aged maniac forever. The only problem is she now looks like a towering psychopath who’s the target of a city-wide manhunt while The Butcher looks like her and has brought his appetite for carnage to Homecoming."
