The FX on Hulu series is currently in the middle of its second season

FX on Hulu has a real gem on their hands with the critically acclaimed series Reservation Dogs, which premiered a year ago on the network / streaming service and has earned itself a notable reputation since. The show follows a group of Indigenous teenagers living their lives out in Oklahoma, getting into trouble while trying to stay out of it and dealing with financial instability, family issues and other problems. Just in case that sounds a bit too serious for your tastes, be aware that the series comes from Sterlin Harjo and Taika Waititi. There's a good bit more comedy than drama here.

Reservation Dogs tackles delicate subjects with a razor sharp sense of humor and its characters are hilarious yet grounded and real. The group of young friends includes Elora (Devery Jacobs), Bear (D'Pharoah Woon-A-Tai), Cheese (Lane Factor) and Willie Jack (Paulina Alexis), who wind up in all sorts of misadventures as they make plans to escape their reservation. The series has been a draw for some notable guest stars as well such as Bill Burr, Megan Mullally and Prey's leading woman Amber Midthunder among others.

The first season was met with pretty unanimous acclaim and adoration for its excellent 8 episode run, and the currently ongoing second season has been received just as ecstatically. The show was given 10 episodes this time around and has thus far shown to successfully blend its weightier and more mature themes with its humor better than ever. In a recent trailer for Season 2's seventh episode, Cheese is forced into a group home after being arrested.

Throughout the various clips shown, he is clearly shown rocking a pretty badass Slipknot t-shirt. This is no blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment. Our man is clearly a fan of The Nine and the show has now somehow gotten a million times cooler. Cheese wears interesting shirts often on the show and this is hardly the first music one he's been seen in; he once had a sick Death Row Records shirt to show off.

Check out the clip below from Reservation Dogs Season 2 and be sure to watch the rest of the season as it runs through September 28th on Hulu.
