The voice of the meteorically rising metal band will host conversations with female and non-binary guests in music to dissect the status quo and share personal experiences.

Despite the stalemate of 2020, Canadian metal outfit Spiritbox managed to be one of the few bands that asserted real traction during a year that saw little if any movement.

With the lauded release of efforts like "Holy Roller" and the emotionally charged "Constance," the band enjoyed healthy position on the Billboard charts as well as a long stretch of seven weeks at #1 on SiriusXM Liquid Metal's ‘Devil's Dozen’.

The band punctuated their formative year with the announcement of their singing to Rise Records and the news that they had begun work on their forthcoming LP.

Branching out and diversifying their presence in the metal community, frontwoman Courtney LaPlante has now unveiled plans of a her own podcast, Good For A Girl. The focus of the conversational series will feature a variety of female and non-binary guests from various tiers of the music industry. Sharing personal experiences of gender inequality, the aim to prompt discourse and illuminate how these instances have ultimately influenced their respective career paths.

LaPlante shared her excitement regarding the announcement, This is a place for us to let our guard down and relate to one another. There are just as many fascinating people behind the scenes as there are fascinating people under the spotlight, and learning from their experience and expertise can help the rest of us get closer to our own goals within this industry."

Season 1 of Good For A Girl will air every Wednesday at 5pm GMT (9am PST) and will launch on Wednesday, February 10th with guest Caity Babs of SiriusXM. Watch the trailer below.
