Marking the 10th anniversary of the post-hardcore cult heroes' praised EP Coloring Book, Glassjaw pulled out all the stops to celebrate the milestone.
Re-issuing the EP on vinyl in 120 different variants, fans quickly snatched up the limited inventory. In addition to the physical release of the reissued Coloring Book EP, the band unveiled a fittingly colorful music video for the track 'Gold' and for the very first time, made the EP available on all direct streaming platforms.
The lore of the EP could be traced to the band's decision to give the release away upon it's release 2011. Initially thought to be an introduction for Glassjaw's third LP, eventual label troubles resulted in the album being scrapped and the EP has remained cherished by Glassjaw loyalists ever since.
Seemingly punctuating the a sequence of events celebrating Coloring Book, the band has now revealed a pro-shot concert directed by Ben Thornley that captures the band's March 30, 2011 performance at The Forum in London. The encore for this particular evening features the line up of Daryl Palumbo, Justin Beck, Manny Carrero, and Durijah Lang performing Coloring Book in its entirety.
Watch the brilliantly captured spectacle and revel in how great live shows used to be.
