Halloween Kills Unveils Teaser Trailer and Announces Delay Until October 2021

The first teaser shows the sequel picks up right where the first film left off.

The sequel to the rebooted Halloween horror franchise, Halloween Kills, was set to hit theaters this October. However, the Coronavirus has obliterated the box office enough that 2020 is essentially being considered a wash. With that in mind, studios are moving some of their bankable winners to dates that make more sense so as not to squander a successful release.

Rescheduled for October 15th 2021, Halloween Kills is helmed by director David Gordon Green and features cast members Jamie Lee Curtis, Judy Greer, and Andi Matichak. Most importantly, John Carpenter has served as the film series' producer and has scored the installments, add a level of authenticity that has really differentiated this series from previous efforts. As reported by NME, the director recently commented that this film has the "movie violent scene he has ever directed".
