#MetallicaMondays made a return for one night only on May 24. The concert series, which originally started last summer as a way to help fans feel connected to music during quarantine, live streams Metallica shows from the vault.
Raising over $7,000 for charities Feeding America and Direct Relief, last night’s edition featured their Lincoln, Nebraska stop on their 2018 WorldWired tour. The number added to the news that broke last August, when Metallica shard they had surpassed more than $100,000 in donations from its #MetallicaMondays streaming concert series for its All Within My Hands foundation.
Mandatory classics “Master of Puppets” and “Enter Sandman” were also joined by rarer gems, such as “The Unforgiven III” from their 2008 release Death Magnetic.
Last night’s stream, as well as all previous installments in the series, are available via Metallica's YouTube Channel.
