Fresh off not one, but two recent tasting events at both Knotfest Iowa and at Banc of California Stadium for Knotfest LA, the Knotfest Beer Pit monthly beer box is back with a November curation designed to crush.
Narrowing the focus of this month's box to a region synonymous with extreme music, the November collection of quality crafted beer hails from Scandinavia - with an assortment of styles ranging from a complex Imperial Red Ale to a cold weather winter stout that is all killer, NO filler.
The variety of beer for this month's collection was a co-curated effort. Among the parties involved include our own Beer Slayer Advanced Cicerone® Adam Zuniga, host of The Six Most Metal Breweries, who joined forces with Mariana Schneider of G.L.O.W. - a non-profit organization with international reach working to address gender bias in the beer industry. The result is a winter edition beer box with double the expertise that ensures every can in your hand is quality.
As with each shipment of the monthly Knotfest Beer Pit, the box includes 8 beers total, 2 of each selection plus an assortment of additional schwag from the breweries. This month's collection will be available starting November 10th.
Let's get to the beer. Here are the selections for the November installment of the Knotfest Beer Pit: Slayers.
Adam Zuniga’s pairing - Nosferatu by Coroner, set to a silent screening of Nosferatu eine Symphonie des Grauens for this symphony of grains!
Adam Zuniga’s pairing - Sober by Tool, because I want what I want.
Adam Zuniga’s pairing - Touch Of Red by In Flames to match the beer SRM, see what I did there?
