Iron Maiden has linked with fine craft beer purveyor Brewdog (who also happens to brew Lamb of God's killer non-alcoholic beer "Ghost Walker") to launch the second beer to bear the Iron Maiden logo.
Following the global success of Iron Maiden's 'The Trooper' beer, the band has announced a bold 6%, highly crushable IPL (yes, m India Play lager) entitled 'Hellcat'. Th beer will be available exclusively in the United States and continues the environmentally responsible production process that remains at the core of Brewdog's brand - going carbon negative for their technologically forward-thinking brewing process.
Frontman Bruce Dickinson discussed the decision to move forward with Brewdog on the second Maiden beer project. “I’ve been looking for the perfect partner with whom to bring a fresh, exciting beer to the U.S. I’ve long been an admirer of BrewDog, not just because of their beers, but also of their attitude and style. When I met the BrewDog team, we discovered the respect is mutual, and that we could make an undeniably unique beer together.”
CEO and Co-Founder of BrewDog James Watt shared his excitement in working with such a legendary name in metal. “We’re thrilled to partner with a world-renowned rock band like Iron Maiden. Iron Maiden, like BrewDog, have maintained their spirit of independence throughout their stellar career. Hellcat is a hop-forward lager with a golden hazy appearance and crisp finish—an epic beer worthy of this massive collaboration.”
No release date for 'Hellcat' from Brewdog and Iron Maiden has been rereleased yet but the project is expected to hit retailers and be available online via Brewdog soon.
