The build-up going into the Zack Snyder cut of Justice League is destined to make the version of the film a party of superhero cinematic lore. Going from some post production edits to now completely refilled scenes with a reupped production budget, the infamous edition of the film is slated to hit HBO Max next year and it already an't come fast enough.
In addition to the return of Ben Affleck as Batman, the controversial incarnation of Joker, portrayed by Jared Leto is now confirmed to be making an appearance in the film. Leto, albeit brief, first played the legendary villain in the 2016 major motion picture release, Suicide Squad.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ben Affleck, Ray Fisher, and Amber Heard are currently involved with the reshoots and ousted director Joss Whedon and former executives Jon Berg and Geoff Johns have been removed from the project even down to the credits in an effort to pay respect to the original creative vision that Snyder had for the story initially.
To add even more hype to the film, HBO Max released a TikTok mini trailer that though features no new footage certainly serves well in sending interest in the Snyder Cut into a a feverpitch.
