Cadott, WI has been the central location for one of the longest running rock-specific music festivals in the domestic United States. For the last 28 years, Rock Fest has been an annual tradition, paused recently by the fallout from the pandemic and resuming it's reign as one of the most important destinations for rock fans making the trek for the four day destination.
The gathering has played host some of the most legendary names in the genre - a generational snapshot of of heroes past and present all of which have graced the Rock Fest stage. From Aerosmith, Iron Maiden, Avenged Sevenfold, Kiss, Motley Crue, Fleetwood Mac, Tom Petty, Kid Rock, Shinedown, Five Finger Death Punch, Rob Zombie, and Korn just to name a few, the party at Cadott remains a crucial metric in determining which bands are among the most important in the universe of heavy music.
The 2022 edition welcomed headlining appearances from the likes of Disturbed, Lamb of God, Evanescence, Halestorm, Shinedown and the return of Mudvayne. Rounded out with a stacked roster of the genre's perennial powerhouses, Rock Fest was a celebration of alternative culture, live music, and rock heavy revelry that we have all missed in the recent years.
