Writer/director Michael Flanagan returns two years after his treatment of The Haunting of Hill House.
As the Halloween season draws closer, the reserve of content in the horror and thriller category is starting to brim. There is a swell of good stuff on the way, including the latest from writer/director Michael Flanagan.
Just two years since his adaptation of Shirley Jackson's novel, The Haunting of Hill House, Flanagan is back with his take on The Turn of the Screw, with the Netflix feature, The Haunting of Bly Manor.
The latest installment of the anthology will be available for streaming starting October 9th and stars some of the same actors from Flanagan's previous feature including, Kate Siegel, Henry Thomas, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, and Victoria Pedretti. T’Nia Miller and Rahul Kohli are added to the cast this time around.
The story centers on a young nanny hired to watch over a wealthy man's niece and nephew. True to the title, the Haunting at Bly Manor begins shortly thereafter.
