Ahead of the band's streaming event from Willow Glen State Penitentiary, Tallah rundown their favorite terrifying visuals.

When a band opts to hold their debut streaming event from the confines of a haunted destination publicly referred to as the "Prison of the Dead," it's safe to assume they might know a thing or two about good horror flicks.

Having already established a reputation for delivering compelling, engaging, sometimes unnerving visuals, the band Tallah have proven they know how to combine sight and sound in a truly unique way. October 1st, the band is set to make the live debut of their forthcoming album, Matriphagy, and they will do so from Willow Glen State Penitentiary.

For ambiance.

That kind of bold, ambitious indulgence in the macabre segues perfectly into the spirit of the season. To get a better understanding the band's visual inspiration, Tallah have offered up their go-to list of horror films that have left a mark on them. Ranging from classics like 1982 version of The Thing and The Fly to modern entires like The Conjuring and Insidious, watch the band weigh in on their essentials.

Be sure to tune into Tallah's live Matriphagy streaming event on October 1st broadcasting from Willow Glen Penitentiary starting at 3:00pm PT / 6:00pm ET / 11:00pm BT.
