During the pandemic, Knotfest enlisted the expertise of Advanced Cicerone® Adam Zuniga of The Six Most Metal Breweries to bridge the culture of craft beer with the community of metal in a way that gave fans a unique experience. The result was the Knotfest Beer Pit, a monthly curation of quality craft beer that functions like a subscription monthly box drop, packed with a carefully curated offering of essential cans to crush.
With the return of live music and the compete concert experience, naturally, a cold beer goes hand in glove with tickets to the rock show. However, in an effort to recreate the Knotfest Beer Pit in a live setting, Knotfest Iowa will be hosting an in-person craft beer tasting event coinciding with the historic homecoming of Slipknot in Iowa on September 25th.
Knotfest Iowa attendees will have the opportunity to participate in the KNOTFEST Beer Pit: Tasting Tent. An elevated heavy rock-oriented craft beer event featuring some of the best and most aggressive craft brewers across the country, this inaugural upgrade will give fans access to one of three tasting sessions and receive 12 tasting tickets to indulge in your choice of quality suds. The intimate confines also give fans an opportunity to discuss the breweries in a small panel setting, getting familiar with the nuanced art of brewing great beer.
The Knotfest Beer Pit Tasting Tent sessions are as follows:
1st Session – 12pm-1:30
2nd Session – 2pm -3:30
3rd Session – 4-5:30
The pricing is $66.66 and includes access to the tent as well as (12) tasting tickets for pours of any of the following featured breweries.
