The recent Blumfest event that featured panels for projects including The Craft reboot, the Welcome to the Blumhouse anthology, the Vince Vaughn-led Freaky, The Ethan Hawke-helmed The Good Lord Bird, and the highly-anticipated return of Michael Myers in Halloween Kills.
“This year has sidelined a lot for all of us, but Halloween is a treasured season at Blumhouse, so we conceived BlumFest to celebrate with our fans via a virtual event that will feature exclusive interviews and never-before-seen footage on an upcoming release or two,” said Blumhouse's founder Jason Blum.
Among the goods shared during the virtual event, included a sneak peek into the bloody madness of the David Gordon Green era of the Halloween franchise. Participating alongside Jamie Lee Curtis, producer Malek Akkad, Bill Block from Miramax, and producer Jason Blum, the team shared a 36-second snippet of what fans can expected when the film debuts October 15th, 2021.
David Gordon Green co-wrote the script along with Danny McBride and the film stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Judy Greer, Andi Matichak and Robert Longstreet, with original Halloween actor Charles Cyphers returning as Sheriff Leigh Brackett.
The snippet also gives fans their first look at Michael Myers after the final scene of the 2018 film and the inferno that was supposed to finish the masked madman.
