The second trailer for the HBO Max sci-fi series Raised By Wolves has surfaced online. The highly-anticipated series will mark famed director Ridley Scott's first small screen directorial effort, with the auteur taking on the first two episodes of the series.
Best known for iconic films of the genre like Aliens and Blade Runner, Scott, along with co-creator Aaron Guzikowski, create a universe where androids are tasked with birthing and raising human children in an effort to preserve humanity.
The cast includes the android "Father" played by Abubakar Salim (Fortitude), Jordan Loughran (Emerald City), Matias Varela (Narcos / Point Break), Felix Jamieson of Game of Thrones, and Ivy Wong (Star Wars: Rogue One).
Opposite of Salim, Amanda Collin plays "Mother," a central character that ha traveled to a new planet with the mission preserving humanity. The dystopian world showcased is terrifying vast and is very much in line with the kind of reality Scott has become synonymous with.
