Daniel Dekay hosts the first ever live Defender of the Riff in the UK, at none other than the most legendary annual metal event in the world, Download Festival!

Filmed in front of a rabid audience of hundreds, comedian and guitarist Dave Hill tells of his time in both industries, meeting Ronnie James Dio, forming a metal band with Moby, and plays his favorite lick from the world of pop.

Evile's Ol Drake joins the panel to discuss leading the thrash resurgence in the early 00s, the bands they've influenced and the scene today, before ripping through some classic riffs with his signature chunky tone.

Becky Baldwin of Mercyful Fate fame makes up the roundtable, sharing her fascinating story on how a young woman from Birmingham joined one of the most legendary heavy metal bands of all time, before all the guys play through some MF tunes to get the crowd singing along!
