156/Silence to Headline the From A Distance U.S. Tour

- By Ramon Gonzales -->

The run will be in support of the band's pending Pure Noise Records' full length and will feature support from Avaiana, Heavensgate and Fromjoy.

Last month, PA metalcore collective 156/Silence confirmed the September 4th release of their Pure Noise Records full length debut, From A Distance. The band's sixth studio album follows the acclaim of their 2024 release, People Watching, and reiterates the band's rising stock as one of the genre's most promising prospects.

Working with producer Josh Schroeder (King 810, Lorna Shore, The Plot In You), the album builds on the momentum generated with the band's previous outings and doubled down on the initial Pure Noise offering with stirring tribute to departed bassist Lukas Booker with the standalone single, "Our Parting Ways".

Unveiling the lead single from the project, "No Arms" offered a glimpse of the metalcore contemporaries rollout for album six. With electronic synth shifting into a groove heavy hostility, the track is an emotionally charged entry that explores personal vulnerability and a refined approach to heavy music.

In support of the sixth full length studio album and the first on the new label, 156/Silence have also firmed up touring plans for the year. In addition to the band's post on the It's Not You , It's Me Tour supporting Chiodos, the band has set dates for the From A Distance US tour. The headlining stretch will showcase new entries from the album in addition to favorites from the 156 catalog. The From A Distance tour will also feature supporting sets from Aviana, Heavesgate and Fromjoy.

The run will begin September 9th in Worcester, MA and close out with a hometown Pittsburgh set on October 3rd. Along the way, 156/Silence will also be making an appearance at Louder Than Life Festival in Louisville, KY on September 20th.
