Ohio brutalizers 200 Stab Wounds have announced their next sonic assault with the news of their early 2027 full length, Lowest Form. Due out February 19th via Metal Blade Records, the album was produced by venerated craftsman Arthur Rizk and augments the band's metallic brawn built out with on 2025's Manual Manic Procedures.
The band shared their excitement in revealing their next collection of tracks. “We are very excited to finally release Lowest Form to the world. We’ve worked harder on this record than anything else in our lives. We’re really proud of this one, and we hope you guys enjoy it as much as we do. See you somewhere in the world. Here’s to a new chapter.”
To begin the band's next cycle, 200 Stab Wounds have debuted their clobbering introductory single, "Pangs of Conscience". Showcasing their requisite brutality and technical prowess, the track suggests the death metal contemporaries have unlocked a new level of intensity.
“This song is about entering a point in your life where you find yourself sometimes making mistakes that go against who you really are as a human, and having to find yourself again,” the band explains. “This song is one of the most dynamic musically and lyrically that we’ve done, and we’re really proud of it.”
Along with the news of the pending release, 200 Stab Wounds continue their commitment to the road with a slate of live dates that extend through the end of the year and into next. Trekking with Tribal Gaze and Maul, the band makes an appearance at Louder Than Life this weekend before continuing on for a length of live dates through the end of the month.
Kicking off the new year and ramping up to release date, 200 Stab Wounds take on Europe with a lengthy stretch of dates supporting Whitechapel, along with Sylosis and Tribal Gaze. A current list of confirmed dates can be found below.
