After a five year stretch, rock music gamechangers 311 have shared their highly anticipated studio album, Full Bloom. Building on the momentum of the album's initial single, “You’re Gonna Get It", 311 secured their highest charting single in well over a decade, suggesting a resounding resurgence.
Further evidence of that was the turnout for the band's celebrated summer run in the Unity Tour - playing to packed venues across the country - amounting to one of the band's most successful runs of their more than three decade long tenure.
Bloom serves as the band's first full length since 2019's Voyager and reiterates the band's enduring message of optimism, community and connectivity of music. “We hope fans can take from this album 311’s message of positivity and unity. In today’s world it’s so easy to become alienated by the pressures of everyday life. Whether it’s social media, stress at work, an illness, the list goes on," shared the band.
Bringing the theme of the album full circle, 311 summarize how the 10 track presentation is ultimately about nurturing humanity and how being in tune with that makes for a better quality of life. "It’s so important to stay open with your loved ones and community so we can all thrive in full bloom.”
Coupled with the release of the album, 311 have shared a new visual for the title track. Emphasizing the connectivity and community that galvanizes around music, the band shared their excitement to begin their next era and explained how the track is symbolic of a new start for a band that has been leveling up for more than 30 years.
"We’re thrilled to finally share our new album, Full Bloom, with the world. This release marks an exciting new chapter for us. We’re excited for longtime fans and new listeners alike to experience the journey with 311. Whether you’ve been with us from the start or are just tuning in now, we hope Full Bloom resonates deeply and reminds you why music connects us all".
Reiterating the band's commitment to their fans, 311 will host a few different events to celebrate the release of Full Bloom. The band will sit in for a Q & A online with fans via TalkShopLive 1pm PT. From there, 311 will head to Long Beach, CA to host an in-store signing at Fingerprints Records at 4pm.
