Organizers of the Milwaukee Metal Fest have unveild the first headliner for the 2026 edition and it's a massive get. Louisiana Sludge m3tal legends Acid Bath have announced they will make their return to the festival after more than three decades since their last showing. 

Co-organizers Jamey Jasta framed the importance of this announcement. “For the last 3 years the #1 requested band the fans wanted for Milwaukee Metal Fest was Acid Bath! We could not be more excited to have them in 2026!” 

Sammy Duet of ACID BATH also reiterated how long in the making this was. "We are delighted to return to the Milwaukee Metal Festival after our last appearance there 32 years ago. We are looking forward to seeing all of you there!"

Set to return to The Rave/Eagles Ballroom just a little later on the calendar then recent years, the Milwaukee Metal Fest has confirmed June 5th through the 7th for their 2026 installment. The latest news follows the recent tease that explained why the festival would be moving later on the calendar from previous years. The update included artwork that referenced Acid Bath's 1994 debut LP, When the Kite String Pops. 

The Milwaukee Metal Festival is set for June 5 - 7, 2026, with the pre-party kicking off on June 4! The festival will take place once again at The Rave/Eagles Ballroom.
