Last month, Bay area deathcore stalwarts All Shall Perish confirmed an important milestone in their storied career. Set for September, the band conirmed their North American headlining tour commemorating the 20th anniversary of the sophomore full length, The Price of Existence.
The announcement for the band proved an importanrt moment that stemned from their reunion in 2024 for a run of festival appearance and has since come back full steam.
The Price of Existence has long been widely regarded as one of deahtcore's defining albums. It was also the first to feature vocalist Eddie Hermida and guitarist Chris Storey - marking a watershed moment in the story of the band. Upon the announcement of the tour, the band initially commented,
“After 20 years, we are playing the ENTIRE record for you on a full us tour! Many of these songs we NEVER played live back in the day.
2006 was a crazy time for heavy music, SO many sick artists dropping fire and birthing a sub-genre. We are proud to have been a part of that moment in history, come re-live this album with us and celebrate 20…TWENTY!?! damn years of The Price of Existence."
While the support for the tour had yet to be firmed up, the latest news now has another full cycle component to the run. Set to join All Shall Perish on the 20th anniversary stretch, fellow deathcore veterans Carnifex, fresh off the Chaos & Carnage trek, have been confirmed as the special guests. Additionally, Extermination Dismemberment and Mauled.will join rank for the tour starting September 4th in Fresno, CA and stretching some 22 cities across the country.
All Shall Perish commented, “SEPTEMBER. WE RETURN. Joining us on the road are Carnifex, Extermination Dismemberment, and Mauled. Many will come. Few will survive.
Our last full U.S. tour was back in 2012 with Carnifex, so it’s only fitting that we tear across the country with our brothers once again.
