With more than three decades of heavy music tenure, Swedish pillars Amon Amarth continue to break new ground creatively with the release of their latest epic, "Upphaf."

The single marks the band's first-ever acoustic offering, adding to the Viking metal overlords' musical arsenal, all while expanding on the Norse mythology that remains core to their craft. Backed by a gripping performance from Johann Hegg, the track serves as the calm before the pending storm - hinting towards Amon Amarth's momentous next chapter following the 2022 campaign of The Great Heathen Army.

The latest reveal from Amon Amarth follows the unanimous praise of the band's 2026 North American run on the Amonklok spring trek alongside Dethklok and thriving fantasy metal sensation, Castle Rat.

The arrival of the acoustic epic of "Upphaf" also precedes the band's upcoming Fall trek across Europe, The Allfather Awakens. Boasting an elite roster of support with sets from Orbit Culture and Soilwork, the tour touches down in key markets and cross mainland Europe and the UK, while ushering in the latest era of Amon Amarth - including the arrival of the band's highly-anticipated new album.

The Allfather Awakens EU/UK tour begins October 9th in Manchester, UK and concludes with a set in Lisbon, Portugal on November 15th. See the confirmed list of dates and cities below. Get tickets - HERE
