Teaming for one of the biggest spring tours of the year, Viking metal horde Amon Amarth have enlisted Dethklok for the AmonKlok Conquest set to begin April of 2026. The run marks an important co-headlining outing, with Amon Amarth working on the follow up to their lauded 2022 full length, The Great Heathen Army and Dethklok hitting the road in celebration of the project's 20th anniversary. 

The Amonklok Conquest begins April 15th in Phoenix, AZ and concludes May 21st with a finale in Las Vegas. With stops throughout the U.S> and Canada, both Amon Amarth and Dethklok will also make festival appearances at both Welcome to Rockville in Daytona Beach, FL. and Sonic Temple in Columbus, OH. Set to join the raid, surging fantasy metal collective Castle Rat will serve as the special guest opener throughout. 

Amon Amarth shared of the announcement, “Three bands. One night. The strong will scream. The weak will fall. Limbs will be lost. We will crush skulls beneath our boots and tear the halls down stone by stone. This is not a concert. It is a reckoning. If you survive… perhaps the gods have other plans for you."

Dethklok mastermind Brendon Small also shared his excitement over the announcement. “We are celebrating our 20th anniversary and what better way to do it, with Amon Amarth and Castle Rat, who embody theatrical heavy metal. We’re going to entertain you as hard as we possibly can with the power of heavy metal in many kinds of ways, and many different iterations — from Viking battleships to Castle Rat to Dethklok with our music and fast-paced, insane animation."

For Amon Amarth, the latest North American siege adds to the band's insanely busy 2026. Last month, the Viking metal pioneers announce their their ALLFATHER AWAKENS EU/UK tour along with Orbit Culture and melodic death metal veterans Soilwork. The trek begins in October and includes stops in France, Luxembourg, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Poland, Hungary, Austria, Czech Republic, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, and Portugal.
