Anaiah Rasheed Muhammad Formerly of ZULU Addresses Allegations

- By Ramon Gonzales -->

The latest post offers a lengthy response detailing his side of the story which includes screen grabs of text messages, audio recordings and even medical test result.

In the fallout from a series of accusations aimed at Anaiah Rasheed Muhammad, the former vocalist of ZULU lost his position in the band and has since been separated from his former collaborators.

Earlier this month, Muhammad was hit with a list of allegations that included domestic abuse, grooming, coercion, manipulation and more. A comprehensive statement was shared to the former partner's social media handle, which also referenced how former ZULU drummer Don Brown had confirmed his exit from the band as a show of solidarity.

Muhammad would follow-up with a response that categorically denied the accusations, maintaining he did nothing wrong and explaining he was "fully prepared to defend myself against these claims and will cooperate with any necessary process to clear my name."

Just last week, the remaining members of ZULU announced that the project was on pause for the foreseeable future and maintained that "Other members of Zulu have separated ourselves from Anaiah and will no longer be working with or performing with him in any capacity."

Now, Muhammad has published another lengthy statement maintaining his side of the story. Addressing the allegations and explaining the timeline in great detail, Muhammad also included several screenshots from text message exchanges with the former partner making the allegations. Muhammad would also include audio that dispute the allegations as well as his own medical test results that all play into the complex story at the source of the confrontation.

Read the statement from Muhammad below.
