Following the departure of longtime vocalists Alissa White-Gluz late last year, Swedish metal titans Arch Enemy have now unveiled who will be taking up the microphone for the band moving forward.
To properly introduce Lauren Hart (ex-Once Human) to the world as the new vocalist for Arch Enemy, the band has submitted a devastating new single, "To the Last Breath." Emphasizing the power and technicality that has long been a signature of AE, the track showcases Hart's forceful vocal command with a track that is equally anthemic and aggressive - making for a hell of a first impression.
Founding guitarist Michael Amott, shared “Connecting with Lauren has marked an important step in my journey. Amott went on to further explain how the release of the latest track, the first since Arch Enemy's acclaimed full length, Blood Dynasty, is about ushering in a new beginning and the evolution of the band. “Make no mistake - this song is a reckoning. Musically, it’s unapologetically aligned with my original vision for the band - and I believe longtime fans will recognise that immediately. Lyrically, it’s about seeing through deception and dismantling the illusion of control. It captures that moment when you realise you’ve been fed poison - and you choose to fight back. Embarking on a new chapter for the band, Arch Enemy have announced an intimate European club show tour, “Back To The Root Of All Evil,” set for this summer.
