With no fanfare and no tease, Avenged Sevenfold have delivered a four-track EP that further expands on the band's experimental lean with, STATICA. Fully delving into the more prog and synth sonics that first took flight on 2016's The Stage and became more defined on Life Is But A Dream in 2023 - STATICA takes a sharp left from the band's more traditional rock signature in what amounts to an 18-minute sci-fi odyssey. The project was produced by the band along with veteran producer, Joe Barresi. 

Keeping the fans on their toes, the surprise EP included no run-up, zero promotion and as of the release date, still no official rollout. The launch of STATICA pairs with the start of the band's summer North American trek opposite Good Charlotte. The EP presents the first offering of new music since the band's standalone single release, "Magic" which was included on Season One launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. 

The tandem summer trek is set to kick off July 25th in Ridgedale, MO and will cover amphitheaters across the U.S. and Canada. The tour will close out with a final set in Phoenix, AZ on August 27th. Avenged Sevenfold will then take on international dates across Asia and extend their tour with a run of Australia and New Zealand before closing out the year. See a list of dates and cities below.
