Adding to what has been a mammoth year for Babymetal, the trio of SU- METAL, MOAMETAL and MOMOMETAL have confirmed an important first in the already storied career for the Japanese pop metal powerhouse. Taking cues from the band's epic pair of colossal performances at the Yokohama Arena in Japan, Babymetal will be leading their arena-sized spectacle for fans throughout Europe in 2025.
Set to kick off May 10th in Brussels and conclude with a finale at London's famed O2 Arena on May 30th, Babymetal will be celebrating their first ever arena tour in Europe - marking an time ever the band has headlined a full tour of the size in the region.
Set to join Babymetal for the historic run, the trifecta is bolstered by supporting sets from Poppy and Bambine Thug - ensuring a potent combination of commanding performances and like-minded artistry throughout.
Communicating through the vessel of Babymetal, the FOX GOD has relayed the following communication, “In 2025, BABYMETAL will enter a new era. The METALVERSE will expand and we will travel to a world we have never experienced, with new songs."
News of the landmark first arena outing for Babymetal in Europe straddles the momentum of the band's meteoric year which saw the release of the Number 1 collaborative single with Electric Callboy in "RATATATA". It also punctuates a festival season that saw Babymetal deliver highlight showings at Download Festival, Hellfest in France, Rock Im Park n Germany as well as impressive outings on Knotfest Brazil and pending dates on Argentina and Chile.
The pivotal European arena tour is set for 2025 and will kick off May 10th in Brussels before closing out May 30th for a highlight finale at London's 02 Arena on May 30th. Additionally the news of the important career first adds to a continual run of success the band has keeps tallying - recently earning a Gold certification from the RIAA for the 2020 collaboration with Bring Me The Horizon in "Kingslayer".
