Last month, rock heavy vanguards Bad Omens delivered a powerful return with the reveal of their first single following 2022's The Death of Peace of Mind and the acclaim of last year's companion effort with the Concrete Jungle soundtrack.
The arrival of "Specter" punctuated an online reveal which included the cryptic messaging like “goodbye, friend” coded via the band's social channels. As for the track itself, "Specter" is anchored by a dazzling showing from frontman/vocalist Noah Sebastian, who continues to assert his position as one of the very best among rock music's contemporary heavy hitters.
Coupled with a dazzling visual co-directed by Sebastian, the cinematic clip complemented the stylishly dark ballad, while marking the start of the band's next era.
Building on the groundswell of excitement surrounding the refreshed Bad Omens, the band have shared their next single with the melodic and mesmerizing, "Impose". Atmospheric and emotive, the latest entry features another compelling performance from Sebastian, asserting the range and melodic versatility of the collective.
Again working with auteur Nico, Sebastian takes on double duty, directing another cinematic visual indicative of the artistic breadth of Bad Omens.
As the band continues to ramp up their next chapter, Bad Omens will hit the road for a stretch of live dates for the remainder of the year. This fall the band headlines the Do You Feel Love European tour, kicking off November 21st. Domestically, In the U.S., Bad Omens are featured with highly touted sets at Louder Than Life in Louisville and Aftershock in Sacramento next month.
