The latest addition to the exciting new blood coursing through the Blue Grape Music roster, Albany blue chips Flatwounds now join the likes of Superheaven, Silly Goose, Gridiron and more as the most recent acquisition on the team.

In a relatively short span of time, the band has maintained a prolific creative pace all while eanring new fans with each performance. Sharing the stage with a broad range of artists in Jigsaw Youth, Show Me the Body, Eyehategod, and Wargasm UK, its clear Flatwounds have stirred serious intrifue among a broad spectrum of followers. 

Maintaining a prolific creative pace, the band launched 3 EPs in the last two years. Down and Raw both arrived in 2023, with Drain following in 2024 - all of which added to the hype surrounding the young prospects. An effective mix of 90's alt, early 2000's angst-riddled rock and the backbone of modern hardcore, Flatwounds are the band that feel familiar and fresh all in one shot. 

Beginning their run on Blue Grape, Flatwounds have shared their first single on the label with "Case Logic". Underscoring the band's classic pedigree with modernized style points, the weighty riffs and big energy of the track point to an auspicious start for the Albany collective. 

The band explain the emotion that fuels the track and how the single is a strong indicator of what's to come. "We feel this song sums up the 'sound' of Flatwounds quite well," shares O'Hare.  "It's about the flaws of humanity and the inherent misery of the human condition."
